SCHIER SHOES

How I love Pinterest. Just found the most adorable shoes for your kids. Schier Shoes is on top of their game right now. It's just one of those brands that does everything right! The leopard ones are priceless. Velskoen (pronounced “fell-skoon”) were originally developed from the footwear of the Khoikhoi tribe in the 1600′s, and are the predecessor of the modern desert boot. Affectionately called ‘vellies’, Schier Shoes – www.schiershoes.com are made from vegetable-dyed Kudu leather and are hand made in Swakopmund, Namibia by eight Damara men who create 20 pairs an afternoon. These boots are made to last and can be passed down through to younger children, or you can donate them back to Schier who will re-home them and then forward you a postcard of thanks from their new owner.

ODD KNITTED CREATURES

Donna Wilson set up her company in 2003 after making odd knitted creatures for her final show at the Royal College of art. The creatures sold out and since then she has built her business designing and making a collection of countless adorable products for the home from cushions and blankets to plates and cups. Everything she produces is made by hand in England and has, in her own words, "a unique style with the aim of making people smile".

LULU CRADLE

If I ever have another baby, I would dream of this beautiful cradle...In 1963, the Lulu Cradle was designed by prominent Danish designer Nanna Ditzel, and became a highly collectible example of modern Danish craftsmanship. All of Ditzel’s grandchildren slept in a Lulu Cradle, passing one cradle back and forth between family members over the years. As part of the celebration of the 125th anniversary of Brdr. Krüger, the Lulu Cradle will be reproduced in a limited numbered edition of 200 pieces.
Mokuba is the Japanese word for “rocking horse”, and the Japanese/Danish design duo O&M Design created this wooden playmate. In honor of their 125th anniversary, Brdr. Krüger will be producing Mokuba for the first time, also in a limited numbered edition of 200.

LIGHT UP YOUR MOOD

It never occurred to me to decorate a light switch on the wall – but then I never knew dressing them with funny vinyl stickers was an option! Kids will love dressing up their switches with awesome Light Up Your Mood stickers. Just like vinyl wall decals, these vinyl stickers peel on and off easily without leaving any sticky residue or marks. Flicking the light on and off has never been so hilarious as it is when the switch is someone’s freckled nose! PS It’s a perfect Christmas stocking filler...

Man I want that swing for my kids! La Clinica is a collection of handcrafted furniture produced by local artisans based in three different parts of the world: Madrid (Spain), Turin (Italy) and Sao Paulo (Brazil). La Clinica is based on the interaction between young designers and experienced artisans, which combines new ideas with centuries-old know-how. LETTERVERMICELLI

I love this 'Sans Nicole' crochet typeface A1 alphabet poster by Nicole Griffin. " I wanted something to show my personality, quirkiness as well as my slight perfectionist tendencies. I am into craft, I love surprising people who think knitting and crochet is Kitsch and boring by showing them something extraordinary."
